Cast Insurance
Directors, actors and camera people are essential to a production and are very difficult, if not impossible to replace. With a cast insurance, the production is insured against accident, illness or even death of the persons insured. The additional costs arising in such a case due to interruptions or the costs already expended if the production is called off are refunded to the producer. This risk is generally covered within the scope of a film policy package.
