10th DFG Film Evening

For the 10th anniversary of the DFG Film Evening we have chosen a very special film: "System Crasher" by Nora Fingscheidt. Already awarded the Silver Bear "Alfred Bauer Prize" at this year's Berlinale, among others, it will be shortlisted for the German Oscar for Best Non-English Language Film in January 2020.

Hamburg, 20 September 2019 - The story focuses on nine-year-old Benni (Helena Zengel). All educational systems are overwhelmed with the tender and energetic girl. She can't subordinate herself, is aggressive and actually only wants to go back to her mother. Nora Fingscheidt's directorial debut was extensively insured by the DFG.

For the 10th time this year, we invited customers, business partners and friends to watch this moving film with us at the Abaton cinema on 25 September. We are looking forward to the evening, which we will spend in the Abaton cinema and after that in the Abaton Bistro.
