Cinema release

DFG-insured film "Niemandsland - The Aftermath" will be released in German cinemas on 11.04.2019.

Hamburg, 4 April 2019   -   Winter 1946: Denazification by the Allies! Rachael Morgan (Keira Knightley) arrives in Hamburg, completely destroyed by the war. Her husband, the British Lieutenant Colonel Lewis Morgen (Jason Clarke), is already on site and is helping with the reconstruction.

Still traumatized by the death of their little son, who died in a German air raid, the two let the previous owner, a widowed German (Alexander Skarsgård), and his disturbed daughter (Flora Thiemann) live in their house out of compassion.

And soon enmity and grief turn into passion and deceit.

This complex drama about the legacy of Nazi terror and war, about winners and losers, hate and guilt and the autonomy of love promises a captivating cinema visit.
